Eric Dane was born as Eric William Dane on 9 November 1972 in San Francisco, CA. Among his numerous siblings, he was the elder of the two siblings that he has. Came from a broken home; both his parents worked on different farms.

The cause of death was ALS. It is very bad, as nerve cells die, and muscles that they control weaken, so the muscles for standing, talking, and breathing will become worse. The average life span is between 3 and 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
